After the heavier grid, in this month of June we’ll give a greater emphasis on melodies, guitar solos and choruses that make you sing along!
Here comes the "hard rockers" Dr. Sin, Tork and Silent.
Dr.Sin
Band: Dr. Sin / Label: Warner / 1993
This Brazilian power-trio born already great, for their lineup had musicians from the most influential bands in the hard rock national scene like Anjos da Noite, Platina, A Chave do Sol, Taffo, and even the backing band of Supla. How they had plenty of experience, these guys began their careers with style!
All that a band dreamed (and still dreams) to release in its first album, the guys achieved: after a season of concerts in the United States, the trio fell in the graces of Warner, which invested heavily in them, and made a masterful debut.
Counting with producer Stephan Galfas, which produced bands like Stryper and Kingdom Come, they eventually left their mark in a sharp production where you can clearly hear all the instruments (although that could have been more full), and of course, with the floor already paved, they only bother to make contagious and highly energetic music, like "Emotional Catastrophy" (which figured in the novel “Confissões de Adolescente”), "Dirty Woman", "Howling In The Shadows" (with an amazing guitar solo), the heavy "Stone Cold Dead" and "Scream and Shout" and the ballads "You Stole My Heart" and "Through My Window" (with a very beautiful and intimate vocal line ) and a well-made cover of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain", by Creedence.
At the time the guys played at festivals in Brazil, as the Monsters of Rock and M2000 Summer Fest, where, according to the band, they did participate without having to flatter anyone.

After sixteen years of his debut, the band already released five more albums and a DVD, all being mandatory items. To have an idea of the influence of the band, the singer Twiggy covered "You Stole My Heart" on her CD, and bands like Karma and Dirty Woman have been baptized with those names because of the songs of the "doctors".
To finalize, I wish Andria, Ivan and Edu Ardanuy continue bing successful their well prepared and bold hard rock!

Tork
Banda: Tork / Independent Label / 2008
As Dr. Sin, this quartet, which includes the aforementioned Edu Ardanuy on guitar, has highly graduated musicians who have played (and play) with artists like Sergio Ramos, Maurício Manieri and bands like Rodox, Dr. Sin and Anjos da Noite.
